‘Feeling entitled’ – Lawyer says PNoy ignorant of due process

Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles | Former President Benigno Aquino III

Former President Benigno Aquino III accused the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) of violating his right to due process over the criminal complaint on his alleged involvement in the Dengvaxia anti-dengue controversy.

However, netizens Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles and Ahmed Paglinawan through their Facebook Page Luminous criticized Aquino’s accusations against the NBI saying that he is overtly showing how “entitled” and unused he is to being investigated like a common criminal.

You know, like common criminals, not like hacienderos?” they criticized.

Luminous explained that NBI is an evidence-gathering body in the investigation, thus, they do not need to show a copy of the complaint being filed against the former president.

Aquino’s doubts about the investigation shows how ignorant he is of the due process, and this translates to his high-horse status that used to protect him from the crimes he carried out during his administration.

“Amoy yung feeling entitled ninyo.

Aquino is currently under investigation for questionable transactions of the Dengvaxia anti-dengue vaccine which prompted NBI Director Dante Gierran to send a recommendation letter to Ombudsman Carpio Morales to have Aquino indicted for technical malversation.

Findings report that P3.5 billion was used during Aquino’s term to procure Dengvaxia. It has been administered to over 800,000 people despite being an experimental vaccine, and 200 people are believed to have died because of it.

You know, like common criminals, not like hacienderos?

May right to remain silent din po kayo.

Well, at least not until now. Mabuti nga at di kayo na bulyawan dahil shushunga shunga kayo sa proseso. Minsan nangyayari yon.

So demeaning. So vengeful. So.. you.
