UP Doctor lambasted Ramon Tulfo for behavior towards PGH doctors and staff

Radio broadcaster and Philippine Daily Inquirer columnist Ramon Tulfo is currently caught in an online bashing after he posted a video of himself demanding and insulting the staff of the Philippine General hospital for being reprimanded of taking a video of the whole ordeal inside the emergency room.

Tulfo’s driver ran over a child playing on the street and then decided to bring the child to PGH from Navotas. When he got there, he started taking a video and was told to stop filming. Tulfo then got agitated and started hurling insults at the doctor.

The video has since gone viral and invited a lot of negative criticisms from netizens all around the Philippines.

One of which was Gene Nisperos, a doctor himself from the college of Medicine in the University of the Philippines.

Nisperos is very angry at Tulfo for what he did in the hospital.

The first thing that he said is that it is ironic that it was Tulfo and his driver that was responsible of hurting the child in the first place but then he is the one who is very aggressive in the situation, acting as if he saved the child.

The second thing that he mentioned is that it is questionable that in an emergency situation, Tulfo decided to bring the child to PGH when he could have just brought him to a nearer hospital in Navotas.

And the last thing Nisperos brought up is the arrogance of Tulfo when he was told to stop filming.

The doctor said that there is a law on patient privacy and filming is in violation of that, but Tulfo still continued to do so amidst this.

Many people have shard the same sentiments and the hashtag No to Doctor Shaming has gone viral on Facebook.

“Let me begin here.

Tao sila.
