Social medial personality and known anti-Marcos Krizette Laureta Chu defended President Rodrigo Duterte for allegedly being biased in favor of the late president's family.

Chu, a New York University alumna, in a Facebook post, said that the only obvious action that could be intercepted that Duterte is a pro Marcos was supporting the burial of the late strongman at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.

He could, but he did not

She pointed out that the chief executive could even use his power to install Bong Bong Marcos as the Vice President (who is still contesting his win against Leni Robredo) but he did not.

"Andres Bautista is still at large, Comelec allowed the 25 percent shading, Imelda Marcos has been convicted for seven counts of graft under the Duterte administration, and of the 23 civil cases remaining, one is pending to be decided on soonest, which is for the Marcoses to return P200 billion of ill gotten wealth" Chu added

A lot of Imelda cases were dismissed in the past

Not only that, Chu also said that people who criticize the president for allegedly favoring Marcoses should think of the cases that had been dismissed in the past before Duterte.

"Over the years, there have been a total of 19 (nineteen!!!!) criminal (not just civil) cases against Imelda that have been dismissed." she said

"She was also convicted for two counts of graft, but the Supreme Court acquitted her in 1998." Chu added

She also slammed the inaction of the past administrations for there were no criminal cases left for Imelda Marcos, just civil cases.

Krizette Laureta Chu's full post reads:

If Duterte was biased for the Marcoses (his only overt action that could be interpreted as being pro Marcos was supporting the dictator's burial at LNMB and that had the SC's imprimatur)--and using his immense power and popularity for them--how come Bong Bong Marcos is still not VP, Andres Bautista is still at large, Comelec allowed the 25 percent shading, Imelda Marcos has been convicted for seven counts of graft under the Duterte administration, and of the 23 civil cases remaining, one is pending to be decided on soonest, which is for the Marcoses to return P200 billion of ill gotten wealth.

BBM still contesting his win as VP two and half years after the elections when it would be so easy to kick Leni out (what, the measly few will rally in EDSA? They'll be laughed out of there) is proof Duterte doesn't meddle. If Leni was removed as VP tomorrow, her fans and supporters wouldn't even fill one half of EDSA. Plus, you think the US and the UN will intervene? Duterte could install BBM without all this drama and the people would still support him (even support him more), but Duterte is not the evil dictator they portray him to be.*

The government thru PCGG also wants the Marcoses to pay for P50 billion in moral damages, P1 billion in exemplary damages and other expenses as may be proven during trial.

Over the years, there have been a total of 19 (nineteen!!!!) criminal (not just civil) cases against Imelda that have been dismissed.

She was also convicted for two counts of graft, but the Supreme Court acquitted her in 1998.

Which means this isn't her first rodeo and that old lady has been through so much which is why she can party. Wala sa kanya yang kaso. Maka pretend yung mga tao na shocking ang pagparty ni Imelda as if naman first time nung tao maka experience ng kaso.

So ever time you want to paint Duterte as unfairly favorable to the Marcoses, think about all those cases that didn't stick, all those cases that were dismissed, even during the time the sitting Presidents professed their hate for the Marcoses. Anong nangyari?

Kumusta naman yung achievement ni Noynoy against the Marcoses? Ilang convictions at years ba nakulong kahit sino sa mga Marcoses nung siya ang Presidente?

Recount lang tayo ha. Thanks to the inaction of the past presidents, there are NO criminal cases left for Imelda to face, and only about 20 civil cases left.

Whose fault is that? Aber?
