Uncovering the truth: What’s the story behind the famous JUMP of Fidel V. Ramos?

Netizen Dan Borbe Logan honored former President Fidel V. Ramos’ commemoration of the EDSA People Power Revolution yet brought up points that may shock you. The netizen shared three simple points that sarcastically made the former president great.

Logan narrated the former glory of the Philippines being the top steel supplier of South East Asia from the 1960’s to the 1990’s. Up until Ramos sold the largest steel factory called the National Steel Corporation (NSC) to Malaysia and China. Which concluded with the loss of jobs for the Filipino.

His second point was that the former president sold Fort Bonifacio, formerly known as Fort Mc Kinley was sold to the Private Sector. The land that was turned over by the Americans turned into what we know as Bonifacio Global City. That asset of the government and the land that the Mall of Asia stands upon was also sold, with the profits’ whereabouts still unknown.

And last but not the least, the selling of Petron to Aramco Saudi. Formerly known as Petrolphil Philppines, it was stated that it was renamed during former president Cory Aquino’s administration. Philippine National Oil Company, Ramos and Aramco signed a contract which benefited the last stated company, it gave them 40% ownership of Petron Philippines and at the same year, in 1994. The last 20% shares of the Philippines on Petron disappeared into thin air as it was also sold.

Logan teaches us the untold history of EDSA and how unfair Ramos was to the Philippines. Those who may seem pleasant apparently has been doing some disgusting deeds, backstabbing their own people.
