It is not true that the Aquino couple Ninoy and Cory were heroes and saints and that their daughter Kris need address that, according to medical doctor Ethel Pineda.

Pineda, a vocal supporter of the incumbent administration, said through her Facebook account that the heroism and sainthood of the deceased Senator Ninoy Aquino and wife late President Corazon Aquino are myths perpetrated by people who could benefit from the narrative.

This was following the recent clash between the Aquino's daughter, actress Kris, and Presidential Communications Operations Office Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson for allegedly disrespecting her father when Uson ploaded a video of her late father in comparison with President Rodrigo Duterte's "playful" kiss with a Filipina in South Korea.

In her response to the post of the Asec, Kris said that her family be respected for her father brought democracy into the country, making him a hero.

Pineda said that the people know the truth behind the popular historical narrative.

"We know what is real, though. The blood shed, and the ripped flesh strewn on the concrete pavements of Plaza Miranda and Mendiola. The enslavement and killing of sacadas in Hacienda Luisita. A family tradition that Benigno Simeon Aquino III carried on in the wretched fields of Mamasapano."

It is theorized that the bombing in Plaza Miranda killing people and wounding Liberal Party members was plotted by the party itself, and the reason why Aquino was absent was because he knew.

The issue of farmers being enslaved and abused in Hacienda Luisita, a land owned by the Cojuanco family is also not new, with many reports showing in the media up until this date.

The Mamasapano incident where 44 members of the Special Armed Forces was also being pinned on President Benigno Aquino who allegedly allowed the situation to happen because of his negligence.

The allegations remain unverified as of writing.

"Someone please pound that on Ms. Kris Aquino's Pantene- shampooed head," Pineda said.

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

The heroism and sainthood of Ninoy and Cory is a myth perpetuated by people who stand to benefit from the narrative.
