Photographer to Robredo: Duterte already gave you a chance to “unite for the sake of the country”

Albert Egot Jr. had a lot to say to Vice President Leonor “Leni” Robredo who recently said that she was still open to the possibility of working with President Rodrigo Duterte amidst their differences “for the sake of the country”.

Saan ba tayo pwede magkakasundo and build on it,” Robredo said in a televised interview Saturday night.

Sana kaming dalawa maging unifying kasi crucial para makuha mo ’yong cooperation ng constituency,” she added.

According to Egot, having both the president and vice president work together in harmony is an offer President Duterte already offered Robredo when they first started in office.

He said that President Duterte offering VP Robredo to head the housing department was the first sign of the president’s efforts to unite the two offices. He adds that having the top two officials in the country working together is something that he wants to happen, but is disappointed with how VP Robredo acted during her time in office.

He alleges that Robredo was protesting against Duterte and joining protesters on the streets while the president was implementing policies.

Egot also recalls how Robredo created a video which he alleges was intended to embarrass the president in front of the international community. He also says that the information Robredo mentioned was not accurate and blew up the numbers of those who died because of the war on drugs.

He says that it is because of this that Duterte released Robredo from her housing position, and that Egot was not shocked by this incident. He says that he saw it coming because Robredo did not give any effort to work with Duterte.

More than that, Egot said that as much at Robredo is now open to working with Duterte again, it is now the President that may no longer want to work with Robredo. Which is why it is Robredo that should personally reach out the president and now make the first move.

"Madam,

Sinali po ikaw sa cabinet kasi nga po “for the sake of the country” gusto nyang mag unite kayo.

You didn’t give him a chance.

If you are not closing your door, pintuan po ni PRRD ang sarado sa ngayon.

Mag alingasa napud ng imong followers to bash and report me"
