Try harder, Jover! Anti-Duterte blogger writes a trashy open letter to Atty. Glenn Chong

In one of her latest blogs, the anti-Duterte blogger Jover Laurio of Pinoy Ako Blog (PAB) seem to steal Atty. Glenn Chong's thunder after writing an open letter for the latter which — by the looks of it — is lacking substance and therefore of poor quality or in other words, trashy.

Colloquial term like 'Luh' and 'Uzi' which she later defined as 'Usisero' has been used by its writer in an open letter meant for a professional lawyer. How funny is that?

In addition, her demeanor or approach on the said letter is just too much to take, specifically on the last part of it.

Laurio, a social media personality that became quite familiar to some netizens due to her non-stop criticisms to the Duterte administration, is admired by the president's detractors because they see her as a beacon of hope for being vocal for her dissent.

Some, on the other hand, strongly believes she is just another infamous political troll paid to attack the government.

Visiting her Facebook page can be stressful for some, especially for the supporters of Pres. Rodrigo Duterte, as the majority of its content were either attacks to the incumbent administration or nothing-but-praise to several Liberal Party officials.

Hailed by Inquirer as the Filipino of the Year 2017, Laurio's page invites the netizens to join their 'growing resistance'.

Last year, the staunch government critic filed a case (4 counts libel) against the Duterte supporter Franco Mabanta who is a well-known social media personality for being a political commentator.

"The first 3 counts of libel were committed by Mabanta "when he reposted his attacks against my person" via 3 Facebook posts while the fourth count was committed "when he claimed that the Liberal Party paid for my interview in ANC and that I was tasked to bring up the victim card during the said interview", said Jover according to a report.

The pro-Duterte personality referred to Laurio as an "Ogre Lady", who is "profoundly disgusting" and "hideous".

In her recent blog entitled 'In Reply to Glen Chong', the pro-Liberal Party blogger appears like she is trying to be relevant on today's hottest issue: the alleged fraud committed by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) last 2016 elections.

Reading the title alone (of which the spelling is indeed problematic - the simply spelled name Glenn was mispelled by Jover as Glen), one would think that Laurio might have received a letter from the fierce lawyer himself. Hence, would spark intrigue to anyone who would see it on social media and would cause them to click the article and read it.

Now, are the people reading it are doing it because they are interested on her thoughts? Or is it simply because of the catchy title that evokes curiosity? That is up to the readers to answer.

Meanwhile, there seem to be no open letter or any message at all from Atty. Chong that is intended for Jover Laurio prior she wrote it.

However, she claims that the 'tsuwariwariwap' (probably she meant the supporters) of Bongbong Marcos or BBM sought for her answers about what the lawyer discussed during Senate hearing. That perhaps explains why she had this letter.

Later, she countered the arguments during the Senate hearing of the lawyer who is a former Congressman from Biliran.

"First, sabi mo daw, May 8 palang may election na kasi meron ng “transmission”. Pareho kayong theory ng privilege speech ni Senator Sotto dati ha", the PAB blogger said.

"Now, tanong kita, taga Biliran ka di ba? For sure may mga upland and lowland areas kayo doon. Mga lugar na malayo sa kabihasnan. Hindi ba kinukuha ng mga teachers and mga gamit for election minsan 1 or days before the election kasi nga malayo pa ang biyahe nila? At sinagot ka na ng COMELEC, tsong. According to Comelec this “query” is part of the Final Testing and Sealing (FTS), that is to test the ability of the VCM’s to connect with the servers come election day", she added.

Afterwards, the contoversial blogger tackled another argument of Atty. Chong.

"Pangalawa, yung sinasabi mo na “The Comelec server was allegedly accessed by a foreign-based machine (E360SYNC), during and after the elections. That it “has the access privilege of a root” capable of making alteration on the system. He called it “malicious and considered a critical intrusion to a computer system.”?", she wrote.

To which her response was,

Further, she provided photos that may put the brave lawyer in a bad light as it seems that it is intended to link him with the Marcos camp — something that he already dismissed during the Senate hearing.

The photos mentioned are shown below. See for yourself.

Full version of Jover Laurio's open letter to Atty. Glenn Chong:

In Reply to Glen Chong

Now, tanong kita, taga Biliran ka di ba? For sure may mga upland and lowland areas kayo doon. Mga lugar na malayo sa kabihasnan. Hindi ba kinukuha ng mga teachers and mga gamit for election minsan 1 or days before the election kasi nga malayo pa ang biyahe nila? At sinagot ka na ng COMELEC, tsong. According to Comelec this “query” is part of the Final Testing and Sealing (FTS), that is to test the ability of the VCM’s to connect with the servers come election day.

Mere “query” by the VCM does not automatically elicit the conclusion that votes have been transmitted during the “query’. Kaya walang record kasi wala namang natransmit na votes. Tse!

In other words, hindi yun transmission. Kaya wag kang imbento. Daming drama, puro naman propaganda.

Alam mo ba ang CCS? Consolidating and Canvassing System. Kung totoo ang sinasabi mo na may transmission of votes na nangyari, May 8 palang, hindi ito papayagan ng CCS, kasi po may mechanism ang software na to to reject subsequent transmissions. Thus, if the CCS logs can show that results have been received on the night of May 9 (after elections), then the early transmission na pinagkukuda mo ay isang malaking guni-guni.

Pangalawa, yung sinasabi mo na “The Comelec server was allegedly accessed by a foreign-based machine (E360SYNC), during and after the elections. That it “has the access privilege of a root” capable of making alteration on the system. He called it “malicious and considered a critical intrusion to a computer system.”?

Amo mo naman talaga, kasi you were his representative. Resibo.

Klaro sa document na you were “sent” as a “regular and alternate representatives of the protestant Bongbong Marcos.”

I read your case pala, pinadala ng isang source, where COMELEC found a probable cause para kasuhan ka and your kasamahan.

Photo from Pinoy Ako Blog

Photo from Pinoy Ako Blog

Sabi sa affidavit, “Chong likewise gave specific instructions to Acosta to tamper with the senatorial votes for Cojuangco.” Luh.

27 pages and case.

Tse!

Napapailing Na Lang,

PAB
