Defense Secretary to Pulong's ouster list: "It was a fake news."

The Department of National Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana on Tuesday said that the first time he saw former Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte list of personalities to ouster President Duterte was a "fake news".

Lorenzana called the list of people involved in an alleged "Oust Duterte Movement" posted by former Davao City vice mayor Paolo "Pulong" Duterte on Facebook as "fake news."

"The first time I saw that post, I said it's fake news. I still maintain that it's fake news," Lorenzana said.


Paolo Duterte blasted critics

The presidential son posted a list with names of usual opposition politicians, known journalists and some members of the clergy. It also implicated big corporations such as Jollibee, Dole, PLDT and General Tuna Corporation.

It also labeled members of the alleged ouster plot as "millennial students studying at Jesuit-run schools" and "mutant/cause oriented groups."

The post was deleted but was shared by thousands of netizens. 


The presidential son titled the file "ANTI-ADMINISTRATION GROUP OUST DUTERTE MOVEMENT" on Facebook.

"Gi-send ra ni sa akoa ha… Share lang nako kay para bibo…," the former vice mayor said.

[Translation: This was just sent to me. I'll share it for fun.]

After such, Paolo Duterte posted in Facebook to tell his critics who reacted on his post about the alleged "Oust Duterte Movement".

In the post, the Presidential son called on Vice President Leni Robredo, Nancy Binay and Father David Reyes. 

Paolo said that they should have read his Facebook caption first before giving a strange reaction. He said that if media failed to understand his caption, it is no longer his problem. 

Paolo Duterte is running for Congress in the 2019 elections.
