Netizen made a brilliant way to thank Duterte on the return of Balangiga bells

The Balangiga Bells have finally been returned to the country. This artifact was first taken by the Americans during the war as one of their spoils.

After decades of negotiations with the Americans, it has finally been returned to the Philippines and many people associated this victory with Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.

Janice Lao was one of these people who took time to thank the president in Facebook.

The post of Lao has since gone viral because of the creative way she wrote it.

Only Digong convinced the Americans

According to Lao, it was the president who was able to convince the Americans to give back the bells.

She says that people have tried before but they were not listened to. Unlike the president. She says that maybe the Americans were afraid of him which is why they decided to return it.

Read about her post here:

"Hay salamat Dodong Digong ha, gihanapan mo talaga ng way para mabalik ang Balangiga Bells ng lolo ko. My family has been telling our previous caretaker for so tagal na to get the bells back to us. Hindi talaga nila nagawa oi.

Kadami na namin gi-sabihan to get the Balangiga Bells from the makakati hands na Amerikano pero they did not listen to us man oi. Yung others naman hindi man nag-listen sa kanila the Americans. Lamya-lamya kasi them.

Pero ikaw Dodong Digong kagaling mo talaga. They made sauli talaga the bells when you asked. Na-afraid siguro sa iyo. Katapang mo man kasi talaga oi. Minsan nga ma-afraid din ako mag-utos kasi mag-siga man kaagad eyes mo oi. Pero you make gawa ways naman to do the things that are needed to be done.

Happy gud masyado si Lola kasi na-return na ang Balangiga Bells. Sana daw meron somebody like you before, baka daw nasauli sooner the bells.

Wala man talaga ako pakialam sa bells na yan oi kasi pwede man ako magpagawa ng 100 nyan, tapos gold pa. Pero my Lola wants it back man. Naga-symbolize daw yan the bravery of our forefathers.

How can I make argue with that? Eh, di gi-ask kita Digong. Gigawa mo naman. So thank you talaga.

Because of those Balangiga Bells gud kaya hindi kami naga go sa US para mag coffee na family ko.

Kaya lagi sa Europe lang kami naga coffee. Pero baka now mag-go na kami there. Isama talaga kita Digong.

Oi sige, tama na this plastikan.

Even the tambays that do not like to work, ipa work mo yan sila.

The lolos and lolas, I want to be happy always ha. Tapos my cars ha, i-clean mo. I-pm ko na lang the other utos ko.💃
