The incident was posted by Conley on social media.

When he was told by the cashier if he would also like to pay for the jacket he was wearing, Conley first laughed thinking its was s joke.

However, after realizing that it was not, he started to convince them that he had already bought the jacket before and that he did not steal it.

He kept telling the cashier that they are stereotyping him and what they are doing is racist. However, they would not listen and insist that he pay for it.

When Conley had enough, he asked the manager to review their security footage to see if he indeed steal the jacket.

When it was clear that he did not steal it, the manager did not even apologize for the incident.

Soon after the incident went viral, Old Navy itself sent out a message to Conley apologizing for the behaviour of some of its employees and that those who were involved in the racial profiling were fired from their job.

Even with the termination of those who have done him wrong, Conley still plans to file civil rights complaint and a civil damages lawsuit.
