"Posting these here because my day/ig stories are only up for 24hrs and apparently ang daming naloko/niloloko regarding this matter.

In times like these, it’s normal for people to look for a way to have extra income. Please STOP giving false hope sa mga taong nakakakita ng stories niyo by showing them na lalaki yung pera nila by the hour when they “invest” in crypto. 10am, 50 pesos pa lang yung pera nila. By 4pm, almost 2k na. And when people “ask you how”, you assure them that it grows just like regular stocks and in the end, kapag nakapag invest na, dun lang sasabihin “oo nga pala, bibilis pa lalo yung pag grow kapag nakapag invite ka.”

How does this work? They’ll ask you to shell out 2.6k pesos and you’ll have to sign up through a link (which is their referral link). Medj mahaba yung process, but in the end, you’ll only be left with around 300 pesos. Where did the 2.3k pesos go? Dun sa nag invite sayo.

“Ate, 300 na lang natira sakin. Yung ibang pera ba from kanina is payment for referral?” “Yessss hehe”

... salamat shopee!!

Within the first 6 hours, hindi nag grow. “Bakit yung sa kanya after a few hours more than 1k na agad?” I let it pass. I decided not to invite and see how this is gonna work without me having to invite others.

I didn’t want to invite kahit may mga nagmemessage asking kung paano ba only because ayokong mawala tiwala ng mga kaibigan ko sakin and stress them out by letting them look for people na pwede nilang iinvite para lang mabawi pera nila. After 10 days, all I got was 7 pesos. None of that hourly increase na pinapakita nila happened to my money. Then nag message si ate girl asking if may nainvite na ba ako. Super important ‘to sa kanila kasi lalaki rin pera nila with every person na marefer mo.

To those who are victim blaming, saying “bakit di mo tinanong? You should’ve known bago mo pinasok yan.” seryoso kayo? I trusted the person and nagulat lang din ako nung sinabi niya lang in the end na kailangan mag invite para mabawi lahat.

In the end, if bet niyo mag crypto, then go! Nothing wrong with that. But I suggest na wag na kayo magparefer kasi malaki yung napupunta sa kanila. Download an e-wallet app na lang and DIY! And if you’ll go for it, wag kayo manloko please. Be honest. You’re basically stealing others’ hard earned money if sasabihin niyo lang yung totoo sa huli.

And if you’d ask me... stocks >>> crypto, always..

EDIT - I know how trading stocks work. Yes, hindi overnight ang ganun kalaking growth when you trade, but THAT IS NOT THE ISSUE HERE. This is about people giving false hope and the fact that many (if not all) of them are quiet about taking 2.3k pesos from you and telling you only AFTER setting up your e-wallet. Buti sana if kasama sa investment mo for crypto yung 2.3k, pero hindi eh. They just happily take it from you, add that amount to their account and show everyone that this is what can happen to your money when you invest."
