Much has been said about the controversial episode of the 'Raffy Tulfo in Action' that went viral, involving a grandmother and two parents who complain about a teacher who was allegedly maltreating their child.

Even the program's host, Raffy Tulfo, was criticized by netizens after persuading the teacher to quit her job and have her license revoked.

The end result did not sit well with netizens and sparked outrage on social media, one of which is from another teacher herself, Dancel Agustino Udquim, who posted a heartfelt open letter to students, parents and to "Judge" Raffy Tulfo.

In this said letter, Ms. Udquim stressed the hard work of being a teacher, their job's ups and downs and the loneliest and happiest moments of being the second parent of every child.

She likewise gave emphasis to the fact that next to the parent, the teachers are the ones who truly love their students and not anyone like Raffy Tulfo.

"Next to your parents, we are the ones who love you truly, fully, and unconditionally and not Judge Raffy Tulfo. It may be hard on our part at times, oftentimes honestly, but we will not leave you.", she wrote.

"An Open Letter to Students and Parents and to Judge Raffy Tulfo:

All day you complain much about our activities and you never fail to ask how many subjects or hours are left before you go home. Quite honestly, there are days that I ask the same question. You see, as much as I love my job, I want you to know that your teacher get tired as well.

It was never my dream to become a teacher, but it is where my heart went. I could have chosen a more financially rewarding, less stressful job, but I know in my heart that I wouldn’t be truly happy. Don’t you know that just by seeing your smile and eyes light up whenever you learn something new makes my heart leap for joy?

Your AHA! moments are irreplaceable. However, please do understand that I am only human. I do try my best to serve each one of you every single day while still trying to keep my self and family intact.

Yes, this is true.I am tired. I am experiencing different kinds of pain everywhere in my body. Often, when you misbehave, it is my heart that aches the most. I do ask myself if I made the right choice, especially during our lowest of lows.

But despite all that, I also get my most memorable highs from you. I love your victorious moments. When you spell a word correctly, finish a task on time and work well with your groupmates. Your joy becomes mine as well. So this I humbly ask-dream with me, with all your teachers.

Next to your parents, we are the ones who love you truly, fully, and unconditionally and not Judge Raffy Tulfo. It may be hard on our part at times, oftentimes honestly, but we will not leave you.

The reason why we are staying is that Dream. The dream that we can make a change, one classroom, even one student at a time. Can you dream the same dream with us?Would you please allow us to discipline you to teach you Good Manners and Right Conduct (GMRC) and Edukasyon sa Pagpapalayas (ESP) properly ?

Perhaps, hopefully, as we dream and strive to work well together, be excellent together, love and respect one another, we can really make this world a better place.

With love,

Your tired but striving teacher"
