OUR TRUE HEROES!

Lubos ang pasasalamat at pagdarasal ng buong mundo sa lahat ng mga frontliners, medical experts, healthcare workers, maging sa lahat rin ng mga kapulisan dahil sa kanilang walang humpay at walang kapagurang serbisyo kahit pa posibleng malagay sa alanganin ang kanilang kalusugan sa banta ng Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).

"As individuals, we do not proclaim ourselves as "heroes". We have our jobs, we took our oaths and we will serve as long as we are able, for our country and our countrymen,"

Ito ang nakakaantig puso na post ng isang Medical Officer ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na si Captain Sherwin Joseph P. Sarmiento sa gitna ng pangaingailanngan ng buong bansa ng kanilang tulong at eksperto sa medical at siguridad.

Saad ni Sarmiento bilang mga health workers, kahit halos tumira na sila sa mga hospitals dahil na rin sa nature ng kanilang trabaho at kahit pa na mawalan sila ng mga protective gear para mailigtas sila sa pagkahawa ay kailanman hindi sila nagrereklamo.

"As healthcare workers...
We almost live in the hospitals for our work demands us to, we do not complain. We may run out of resources to personally protect ourselves from being infected, we do not complain," saad niya.

"We may be exposed to possible sources of infection everyday but just to deliver and give quality healthcare services, we endure, we do not complain," dagdag niya.


Bilang isa sa mga mga military personnel na nangunguna sa pagbigay kaayusan at katiwasayan ngayong nasa ilalim na ang bansa sa Enhanced Community Quarantine kahit pa mawalay sa mga pamilya at mahal sa buhay at malagay sa piligro ang buhay ay hindi sila nagrereklamo.

"Our troops sacrifice not to be with their own families in this time of crisis just to give a peaceful and organized system especially in the metro, we do not complain," pagpapatuloy niya

Hangad lang niya'y ipagdasal ang lahat ng mga matatapang na mga frontliners para sa kanilang kalusugan at kaligtasan.

Bumuhos rin ang paghanga at pasasalamat ng mga mamamayang Pilipino sa lahat ng tulong mula sa mga frontliners na hindi iniinda ang pagod at takot maibigay lang ang serbisyo para sa bansa.

As healthcare workers...
We almost live in the hospitals for our work demands us to, we do not complain. We may run out of resources to personally protect ourselves from being infected, we do not complain. 

We may be sent to remote areas of the country to secure the people from this pandemic and be far from our own families, we do not complain. 

We may be exposed to possible sources of infection everyday but just to deliver and give quality healthcare services, we endure, we do not complain.


As military personnel...
Our troops may be seen all over the archipelago anytime of the day, we do not complain. Our troops are deployed and seen on checkpoints, monitoring the movement of the people with them neglecting the possibility of getting the infection, we do not complain.
