Viral ngayon sa social media ang post ng isang Food Panda customer na binantaan at harap-harapang minura ng delivery rider dahilan lamang sa late ito nakababa ng building kung saan siya nakatira.

Sa ibinahaging post ni Ace Hackett Mercado, kinuwento niya ang nakakagulat na asal na ipinakita ng isang delivery rider, kung saan naghihimutok ito sa galit dahil pinaghihintay pa niya umano ito ng matagal bago makuha ang idineliver na order.


Aminado si Mercado na medyo na-late ito sa pagbaba dahil sa kailangan niya munang tugunan ang binabantayang anak at ito rin ang dahilan at ipinapakiusap niya sa rider.

"this happened today after I ordered food from foodpanda (the rider called me at 11:49, told him okay bababa na ako saglit lang because I have my kid with me, I was at the lobby by 11:59, was about 10 minutes late, my bad)," saad niya.

Ngunit sa nangyari, hindi niya inaasahan na ganoon nalang ang galit ng rider sa kanya na pinagmumura at sinisigawan siya nito habang bitbit ang anak.

"Sumunod pala si rider sa loob and threatened me and nagsisigaw na sa loob, nagpigil ako because I had my baby with me,"

Nagbanta pa ang Food Panda rider na may nilagay siya sa pagkain na inorder ni Mercado.

"Kainin niyo yung cake. Malasahan niyo sana,"

I was late and missed his succeeding calls because
1. I had to attend to my baby who’s crying
2. I had to wait for the elevator that works at a limited capacity

when I was downstairs, the rider was gone so I called him. he started ranting on the phone blaming me for being 10 minutes late. so rant lang siya ng rant, I got pissed and asked him anong oras siya makakabalik dahil I have my baby with me, told him to just deliver my order because I already paid for it. bumalik naman siya but when he’s about to leave I heard him say ‘so okay na tayo sir... gag0!


ay nagpanting ang tenga ko so I replied back and cursed him too. went back inside the building with my baby not knowing na sumunod pala si rider sa loob and threatened me and nagsisigaw na sa loob, nagpigil ako because I had my baby with me, then the guards came (yes they came late parang sa pelikula)

the threats didn’t stop there, he kept on sending me messages, called me ‘panot’ for countless times which is totoo naman so okay, happy ka? but he threatened me na wag daw akong bababa talaga ba? and that he had put something on the food that I ordered 😳

so nireport ko sa foodpanda (via email, chat and fb), asked for the rider’s name because ipa-blotter ko sana but as expected I only got the usual PR response from them 🤷🏻‍♂️
