Rica Peralejo, may reaksyon patungkol sa simbahang nagba-'bloc voting'

Kamakailan lang ay opisyal ng ipinahayag ng Iglesia ni Cristo, isa sa maimpluwensyang religious group sa Pilipinas, ang kanilang pagsuporta sa kandidatura ng dating senador na si Bongbong Marcos para sa pagkapresidente. Kilala ang nasabing relihiyon sa kanilang gawi ng 'bloc voting' tuwing eleksyon kung saan kanilang sinusuportahan ang sinumang iendorso ng kanilang pamunuan. 

Ito ay nagdulot ng napakainit na diskurso sa social media at umani ng iba't ibang reaksyon lalo pa't palapit na ng palapit na ang araw ng eleksyon.

Isa sa nagbigay ng kanyang opinyon ay ang aktres na si Rica Peralejo-Bonifacio na isa ding content creator/writer. 

"Para sa mga INC followers ko, whether you vote for Leni or not, if you vote out of your decision and not because of your institution said so, I CELEBRATE YOU," post ni Rica sa kanyang FB at IG story nitong May 4, 2022. 

Dagdag pa niya, "Ot (It) is about time this block (bloc) voting is put to an end. Cause it only takes one corrupt leader on the top ro (to) use the ideologies of church and sway everyone else to vote for what is evil."

Narito ang sumunod pa niyang mga pahayag:

"And para sa lahat ng may religious backgrounds and reasons for voting, may wisdom ang leaders yes, PERO MAY WISDOM KA DIN. So very possible naman na tama yung nadinig mo from God kahit hindi ito yung nadinig ng leader mo ok? Unless naniniwala lang never sila nagkakamali at never ka tama kung hindi sila agree. Kung ganun bakit pa tayo nageeffort ng relationship with God? Dapat relationship with them na lang."

Case in point dami ko nilealead before kung ano ano sinasabi ko. Five years later nakakairita na mali pala mga pinagsasabi ko sa kanila. Mas wise pa pala yung naisip nila sakin. So simula narealize ko to, everytime I am asked for an opinion sinasabi ko nalang na "ito akin," pero ask mo si God baka iba sabihin sayo.

You will not be able to stop agendas all around you. All of us have a take on HOW TO DO THINGS. Which is why it is extra important that your own critical thinking is sharpened so you can always read between the lines. It is also extra important to practice hearing from God for yourself, in a way that is not muddled by our tendency to think that people of authority or great skill or power hold the key to what He says. 

We must be aware of our own beliefs when it comes to power struggles. Like ask yourself sino ba sa palagay mo ang may hawak ng totoo? Pag sinabi mong si Lord, what so you even mean by that? Is it Word you understand for yourself or Word as given to you and explained by others? Cause if usapang sacred text lang ay wala namang immune completely sa misuse, manipulation, misinterpretation.

DO NOT BE AFRAID. BE A FEARLESS GENERATION. DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE LIES WE ARE TOLD. INSPECT EVERYTHING THEY SAY TO MAKE YOU DO SOMETHING. Investigate. Deconstruct. Why? Because the TRUTH will come through if it really is the Truth of God. He will never be intimidated by your questions."

Nagtrending naman sa Twitter ang #KakampINC, para sa mga INC members umano na hindi pabor sa endorsement ng Iglesia sa tambalang Marcos-Duterte.

Maraming pulitiko ang nagnanais makakuha ng pag-endorso mula sa Iglesia dahil mayroon tinatayang 3 milyong miyembro ang kanilang kalaganapan.
