"This story sounds pretty unusual, however, the duo were taken to Rehman's house and it was there where he told us how Sajita had been secretly in the same room for so many years", sabi ni Police officer Deepa Kumar.

“I can’t believe my son had kept the woman inside his room for 10 years. Nobody in our family is aware of this,” sabi ni Muhammad.

He is fabricating stories. It is impossible to hide a girl inside a small room for 10 years. We would have heard her voice or sneeze. I suspect he had hidden the girl in some other place.

If we have got any clue about the girl’s presence in the house, we would have informed the matter to the natives or officials. We would have solved the issues. We don’t have any idea about Rahman’s revelations. When the girl went missing, police also questioned Rahman. But he told them he has no idea about her. He repeated the same to her mother. Nobody suspected that Rahman and Sajithe are in a relationship. He used to spend time at home without going for job. He always complained about health issues. Doctors who diagnosed him declared that he is fine. When we tried to take him to another hospital, he refused. We thought he is having mental problems and tried to seek medical help,” kwento ni Muhammad.

We don’t cook extra food at home. Rahman does not have food in his room. He used to wash plate after having food. Once, he moved to Tamil Nadu for two days. If Sajitha was in his room, how did she get food? Rahman says he kept bread for her. He is telling strange stories. I suspect he might have accommodated her in one of our relative's house," aniya.

Rahman only has one or two friends. He doesn’t have a strong friendship with anyone. It is learned that the Women’s Commission will visit our house tomorrow. We don’t know anything. We are also shocked after hearing the stories. If the girl hid inside the room for 10 years, there is something unusual. In March, he left home without telling anyone. During that time, nobody was in our house. If something unfortunate had happened to that girl when residing in our house, everyone would have blamed us for putting her life in danger," dagdag nito.
