The Manila Hotel formally denotes the beginning of the Christmas Season with its yearly Christmas tree lighting convention with no less than the now very popular Manila Mayor, Isko 'Yorme' Moreno as guest of honor in the ceremony held at the hotel’s grand lobby.

The occasion was made increasingly exceptional with the hotel’s long-standing commitment to help a shelter, the House of Refuge, that gives fundamental needs to abandoned, orphaned, and maltreated young children and teens. Consistently, the Manila hotel plans to satisfy its promise by turning over its donation in this simple ceremony commenced by the conventional tree lighting.

Now, after Manila Mayor Isko Moreno led the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the notable Manila Hotel, he then confirmed in an interview that he will be part of the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival movie of Kapamilya actor Coco Martin.

Yorme Isko said that he is thankful to the 'Ang Probinsyano' lead actor for making him part of the upcoming MMFF movie 'Tripol Trobol Huli Ka Balbon'.

"I'm grateful to Mr. Coco Martin and the staff. They included me in the movie. Ano lang naman, a few scenes as myself, no, the same position pala,” the Manila Mayor said.

He also revealed that he actually asked them to give his talent fee to the Philippine General Hospital (PGH).

"Sabi ko sa kanila, ibigay nila sa PGH 'yung yadba (bayad) nila sa akin," Mayor Isko said.

The popular Manila Mayor likewise admitted that he truly missed the entertainment biz and is very happy that he has heaps of offers at the moment. He too kiddingly said that these film offers and product endorsements were not present when he was still an actor back then.

"Nakaka-miss. Kaya nga ako natutuwa, noong artista ako, hindi ako naging model e. Ngayon kaliwa’t kanan meron e,” Yorme uttered.

However, the Manila Mayor clarified and stressed that seeing himself on different billboards in Metro Manila is not a propaganda but just a mere job. Said also that he hope he does not offend anybody as he personally do not profit from it all.

"Honestly, I hope I don't offend anybody later on. If you see my face in billboards, it has nothing to do with (propaganda). Importanteng maliwanag lang tayo. Sa madaling salita, trabaho lang 'yun. Hindi ko naman ibinubuhat ng bangko sa inyo. Ni singko doon wala akong pinakinabangan," Mayor Isko ended.
