Ikinalungkot ng marami ang naging pahayag ng 'queen of all media' na si Kris Aquino kamakailan, matapos niyang kumpirmahin na mayroon siyang 'life threatening disease'.
Sa kanyang Instagram post, buong tapang na inihayag ni Kris ang kanyang totoong kalagayan.
"Pasensya na, hindi po ako sigurado if my video made sense. Mula end of April, we found out life threatening na 'yung illness ko. I've always been proud of my honesty and courage. Ginusto ko na makalipad sana ng tahimik pero utang ko po sa mga nagdarasal na gumanda ang aking kalusugan," pahayag ni Kris.
Bumuhos naman ang mga nagpaabot mensahe para sa kilalang TV host/actress. Isa na dito ang kontrobersyal na retired Political Science Professor ng University of the Philippines na si Dr. Clarita Carlos.
"I first saw Kris Aquino when she was like 8 years old, while cutting the ribbon of a fast food outlet at the SM North mall. She delivered her short speech extemp and she was very articulate. We have followed her to her adulthood as the feisty, fun loving daughter of our president. Later, she shared with us her sadness and her unhappiness from her, admittedly, many errors in judgment in love. I have always admired her chutzpah. Being her own person and not really caring a whit what the rest of us think," ayon kay Prof. Carlos, na mas nakilala ng marami matapos ang nagdaang presidential debate sa SMNI News Channel.
"Today, given her very serious medical challenge, I hope you will join me in summoning all the positive energy of the universe, to help her heal. Thank you," dagdag pa ng propesor.
Samantala, mayroon namang pakiusap ang 'queen of all media' para sa lahat:
"Not for my sake, pero for my 2 sons, 1 in the autism spectrum and; 1 only 15- kung balak nyo pong mambastos or mag comment ng masakit o masama, sa mga sarili nyo na lang pong IG, FB, or chat group sana gawin. Hindi nyo po ako kailangan gustuhin para magpakatao… please don’t punish kuya and bimb for being my sons. Hindi po masama ang maglakas ng loob at magsabi ng sobrang bigat na katotohanan," apila ni Kris.
