President Rodrigo Duterte is currently in Russia not for a vacation, but for a state visit.

Apart from his scheduled meeting with the Russian President Vladimir Putin, whom he recently called his 'idol', Pres. Duterte's visit included a formal meeting with the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow.

In his meeting with Prime Minister Medvedev, Russian netizens did not let the Chief Executive's look pass, pointing out proper grooming amongst the country's highest leaders.

The netizens of the said country took to Twitter how grooming should be observed in a meeting like that of Duterte and Medvedev.

In addition, not only did the Russians take a swipe on Pres. Duterte's look on social media, but also a Czech journalist.

In his Twitter post, he noted that the firebrand president showed "a bit unkempt for the meeting with the Russian PM Medvedev in Moscow" adding that it caused the Russian internet to have a "blast".

According to a report, the journalist who dissed Duterte was Pavel Vondra. In his post, Vondra showed supposed screenshots of Russian netizens' criticisms to the Filipino president online.

“Rodrigo Duterte showed up a bit unkempt for the meeting with the Russian PM Medvedev in Moscow and the Russian internet is having a blast: ‘Did he drink all night?’, ‘Did he just leave the pub?’, ‘Do Filipinos know what a (state visit) protocol is?’ people ask. #DuterteInRussia,” the foreign journalist tweeted.

Based on photos from Malacañang, Pres. Duterte can be seen wearing an Americana suit with a loose tie.
